Straight white male who thought...meh, the movie was neither fantastic nor horrible. Every actor/actress is involved in projects that don't go the way they hope...and critics (food, movie, literary, whatever) can shove off as...their opinion means nothing to me.
ELIZABETH GOT THE LAST LAUGH!!!!😂😂😂 YOU GO GURRLLLLLLLL👏👏👏👏
With all the stuff coming out about Diddy & Weinstein SHOWGIRLS has AGED WELL!!! Instead of the film being about strippers it could be about female R n B singers trying to break into the music industry and the horrors that come with it!!!!
I don’t understand the backlash she received for this movie it was a great movie I enjoyed it and I think she is a phenomenal actress ❤
SAME HERE!!!! I LOVED AND STILL LOVE THE FILM THANK YOU ELIZABETH 😘😘😘❤❤❤
I’m sorry but how are you interviewing Roger Corman and don’t know his most famous films. How do people with 0 subject knowledge get these jobs and opportunities
When I finally watched Showgirls, I instantly not only realized that it was certainly NOT the worst film ever made, but a great film! I got so pissed at all the people who snidely maligned this film in the 90s.
R.I.P What a groundbreaking director. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This movie has a special place in my heart. As I've gotten older. I've really understood the journey that her character goes on. That in truth. We all go on. To find out who we are. To embrace our past and to walk through all of it. A whole, complete person. Ms. Berkley is a wonderful actress and this speech was from the heart. Thank you for this. P.S. I remember how the press treated her. This film proved it's point. People just didn't/don't want to look into the mirror.
You’re very welcome. Thank you for watching and commenting.
@@cda345 Thank you for sharing this with us.
Unfortunately, the sound is less than stellar.
This Walter Huston and Harry Carey Sr. version of the Wyatt Earp story is great! Thanks for catching this one.
The Searchers is one of my favorite films of all time! Thanks for catching this one.
Only thing good about Spaceballs is Rick Moranis. Everyone else was miscast and the jokes were often 5th grade level. Far below Blazing Saddles/Young Frankenstein.
Thanks for posting this poor quality copyrighted content that you’ll be able to see on TCM.
Not copyrighted. Public event where photos and video recordings were allowed.
@@cda345 Great thing about it is you can see and hear it from a vantage point inside someone else’s head - yours!
TCM hasn’t posted theirs yet. Guessing they’re saving it for TV broadcast.
We joking refer to the cameraman on this channel as Stevie Wonder.
I’ll take it as a compliment!lol
I'll wait for the real one. This is garbage.
Appreciate your honesty.
Tell us how you really feel.
Thanks for uploading this. I would have loved to have seen "Spaceballs" with an audience.
My pleasure! Enjoy!
What’s up with people standing up and walking around?!? So rude! It’s Steven Spielberg for God’s sake! Show some respect!
Hi, thank you for posting all these (I checked your main page). Do you happen to have Fincher and Se7en? Lots of people are wondering how that went :)
Unfortunately was not at that screening.
Wow, this is the first time I’ve ever seen her say anything about The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane - honestly, as much as I love Silence, I wish this conversation was about that film! 😂 There are rumors that Jodie hates it, but who knows if it’s true.
Yeah she said she doesn't like it. But I agree with you, it was a good thriller...a good little "bad girl horror" movie/riff on the Exorcist
Thank you for posting this! I was there but got in late and missed most of the Q&A.
Enjoy!
Oh damn that got me teary eyed .. This has been my favorite movie since it came out ! .. I’m so happy she sees and feels the love she deserves. This movie is a masterpiece.
Thank you for recording and sharing this. I was there. Hearing the stories of Marlon's cinematic genius and his boyish pranks was better a second time.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for commenting! Please consider liking, sharing, and subbing!
Bless you for sharing this thank you!
Love her! This is my fave movie.
The industry failed her, but I’m glad it hasn’t broken her down in the slightest, so that now she can be lifted up by us 🤍
you are literally everywhere i go on youtube😭😭
So proud of you Stacey (Sloan) and your books are awesome! I talked to your mom about a week ago! I talked about you last night with Stephanie Rider! Really proud of your success sweet friend!
Such a great speech, very inspiring! What a great moment for her after what she experienced in the press.
Bravo for Showgirls!!! I love the movie Showgirls and thought it was spectacular. Especially having done all that dancing from the age of about 3 to the age of about 17. I loved being in those productions where you could wear the finer things like tap shoes and tutus with sequins and feathers. OMG Elizabeth Berkley is amazing!
Where was this?
The Chinese Theatre in Hollywood
I cried, LOL! I'm so happy for her to have had this night because I certainly remember what happened in 1995 and after. Thank you very much for posting this!

Elizabeth Berkley has always being a brave and genuine actor. Glad she was surrended by pure love and light in that magic night!

I was in that room, row F left side aisle. I can't even describe the love and electricity in that room that video only partially captures. Basic stats: sold out crowd of 1,200 and three standing ovations. I was in tears. And the movie itself in that grand scale was indescribably incredible. This will never be repeated outside of my memory and this awesome "complete" video. Thank you!
It was a magical night! So glad you were there!
did anyone record the movie while it was playing, i want to hear audience reactions!
Thank you so much for this 🙌

Me 🤝 hmmming guy throughout the interview
I had the pleasure of interviewing him in 2012. It was one of the best days of my life.
Such a classy lady. Americas mom.
Greatest film score ever written
Such a beautiful family
You are my namesake. I was named "Mitzi Spranger" for the first 12 years of my life. I am blessed.
then I chose to be called by my mother's name as legal 😂 (Michelle Marie Spranger)
Two goat of cinema talking together
No cares if Babs isn’t close up to the camera…it is a pleasure to hear her anyway ! Seeing her the size of an ant 🐜 🐜 🐜 reminds me of when Madonna was at the height of her popularity and a huge Star a magazine published a cover of her and the picture was the size of a stamp.
I didn't know they reshot that glass scene 25 years later. It really was distracting, good for her.
I would love to see the restored version! I finally saw "Rosita" about 4 years ago. But the print was very inferior. It looked like a GREAT movie. The sets were amazing (design, etc.).
💖🥰🔥🤩
19:00 Wait, so the hospital scene has been found?
No matter how many creative marketing happens... if a movie SUCKS liek this one, it will stay SUCK.
You know what sucks? Your grammar. Liek?!
What sucks about it please?
Brinker Harding. That name was on a graded paper in the beginning- my neighbor- an Omaha City Councilman! He used to be the assistant to the mayor- in Country Club area- near where About Scmidt filmed by Dundee Pres. I loved this movie and havent been in a theater in 3 or 4 years- not much worth seeing- but I loved these characters and carried them home in my heart.
Only limited to 1000 copies.......😥
Perfect thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
